During Monday’s conference, new visualizations of objects were also shown. Nowa Skra will consist of an athletics stadium with a roofed auditorium for almost 25,000 people, which will enable the organization of championship competitions. There will also be a sports hall for six thousand fans for Warsaw’s basketball and volleyball teams from the highest leagues (in the next season it will be the teams of Legia, Dzików and Projekt). A large part of the recreational and sports area is to be given to the residents.

According to the city hall’s predictions, the beginning of works on the hall is scheduled for 2025, and completion can be expected in 2027. There is no money for the athletics stadium yet, the town hall counts on the involvement of the Ministry of Sport.
