She was standing at a pedestrian crossing and seemed lost. The elderly woman was noticed by city guards. Seeing them, she calmed down and returned home safely.
Around 7:15 p.m., city guards from the 4th Regional Department were patrolling the area of Karolkowa Street in Wola. It was there that they noticed an elderly woman at a pedestrian crossing who seemed lost.
“They offered her help. The woman, who was initially confused and unable to formulate her thoughts, clearly felt more confident when she saw the uniform. She admitted that although she knew her home address, she didn't really know how to get there,” the city guard reported.

They took her home
The guards made sure she did not require medical attention and then took the 86-year-old to her apartment, which was a few blocks away.
“When saying goodbye, the old lady said that despite the embarrassing incident, she would remember the walk very nicely,” it added.
We would like to remind caregivers of older people about the importance of providing seniors with information about the number to call if such a person is in danger. It can either be placed in the so-called portfolio. an ICE card, but even a clothing tag or just a piece of paper.
