Police officers, firefighters and paramedics appeared on Thursday evening in the vicinity of the Żerański Canal. It was about drowning.

Artur Węgrzynowicz from tvnwarszawa.pl found out about the operation of the services. “A man drowned,” our reporter said.

The events were confirmed by Małgorzata Wersocka from the press department of the Warsaw Police Headquarters. We received the call around 8.30pm. A 51-year-old man entered the water and did not resurface. The services were notified by a person who was with him, the police officer informed.

She also noted that despite resuscitation, the man could not be saved.
