In the next day, the weather in the northern and southern parts of the old continent will be shaped by low pressure systems – informed the weather forecaster at tvnmeteo.pl Daniel Kowalczyk. He added that lows of Atlantic origin will move through Scandinavia towards western Russia, while southern Europe will continue to be dominated by stationary lows from above the Apennine Peninsula.

The low-pressure systems from the south and north of the continent are separated by a high-pressure belt connecting an extensive, stationary anticyclone (high) over Russia and high above Western Europe. As the forecaster noted, Poland will be in a high pressure area. In the higher layers of the atmosphere, warmer air masses flow to us through the Carpathians, sent through the lowlands from the south of the continent.

At the same time, slightly cooler air from the east reaches Poland in the ground-level atmosphere. It causes a temperature inversion, which is conducive to the formation and persistence of mists and mists, as well as clouds hanging low over the ground, from which drizzle can fall in places, and snow in cooler foothill regions.

Tuesday will bring a cloudy aura with minor showers in the northern belt of the country. In the south, haze and fog persisting in places until noon are forecast. A drizzle is possible locally. The maximum temperature will be from -1 degree Celsius in the Suwałki region and Masuria, through 2 degrees C in the center of the country, to 3 degrees C in the south and south-east. A light wind is blowing from the north.

Wednesday promises to be cloudy with local showers. It will be foggy in the south in the morning. Thermometers will show a maximum of 0 degrees C in the northeast, through 2 degrees C in the center of the country, to 3 degrees C in the southwest. The wind will be light to moderate, variable.

Thursday will be cloudy with showers. In the north of the country there will be snowfall and snowfall with rain up to five centimeters. The temperature at the warmest moment of the day will range from -1 degrees C in the Suwałki Region, through 1 degrees C in the center of the country, to 2 degrees C in Lower Silesia. A light wind blows from changing directions.

It will be mostly cloudy on Friday. Snow and sleet fall in the south and in the center. On thermometers we will see a maximum of 0 degrees C in the Suwałki Region, through 1 degrees C in the center of the country, to 3 degrees C in Western Pomerania. The wind in the south and east of the country will blow weakly and moderately from the south-west. In the north and west it blows from the north-west. It will be moderate, at times quite strong wind, with gusts up to 40-60 kilometers per hour.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy. Light snowfall is forecast in the south, and snow and rain in the north. Thermometers will show a maximum of -2 degrees C in the northeast, through 1 degrees C in the center of the country, to 4 degrees C in the southwest. Light to moderate winds will blow from the north.
