Weather for today – Sunday 1.01. New Year’s Eve very warm, cloudy and windy, and wet in places

An exceptionally warm New Year’s Eve is behind us. The temperature record for that day in Poland was broken by more than three degrees Celsius.

Until now, January 1, 2007, was the record warmest day, when 15.9 degrees Celsius was recorded in Grabik (Lower Silesian Voivodeship). Legnica the maximum temperature was 12.6 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday in Poznań moderate to heavy cloud cover. The temperature at the hottest moment of the day will rise to 15 degrees Celsius. The south-west wind will turn out to be moderate and quite strong, with gusts up to 60-70 km/h. The pressure will reach 1007 hPa at noon.

The inhabitants of Wrocław are waiting for Sunday with moderate cloudiness. Thermometers will show a maximum of 17 degrees C. South-west wind, moderate and quite strong, with gusts up to 50-70 km/h. On the barometers we will see 1005 hPa at noon.
