The prosecutor's office is investigating the death of a 2.5-year-old girl who died after being admitted to a hospital emergency department in Wysokie Mazowieckie (Podlasie). Her eight-year-old brother and mother are also in the hospital. Investigators do not provide details. Unofficial findings indicate that there may have been severe food poisoning.
“A 2.5-year-old girl, her 8-year-old brother and her mother were taken to the emergency room in a hospital in Wysokie Mazowieckie with symptoms of poisoning. Despite quick resuscitation, the girl could not be saved,” Polskie Radio Białystok reported on Thursday (May 9) on its website. .
It also quoted the district prosecutor in Wysokie Mazowiecki, Grzegorz Kryszpin, who stated that there was no indication of the involvement of third parties.
