A landing gear defect was detected on the PLL LOT plane from Zurich to Warsaw. Passengers had to disembark and the flight was ultimately canceled. We received information about this incident on Kontakt 24.
On Friday evening, the Kontakt 24 editorial office received a few seconds of recording showing the LOT Embraer E195 plane standing at the airport in Zurich. According to the person who provided the video, the plane was supposed to be stopped just before take-off.
In turn, on tvnwarszawa.pl we received a recording from inside the machine. It shows passengers disembarking and the fire brigade standing on the tarmac.
Krzysztof Moczulski, press spokesman for LOT Polish Airlines, confirmed that the plane's takeoff was canceled. – Due to a fault in the front landing gear control and due to the need to inspect the machine, the LOT 420 flight from Zurich to Warsaw was canceled – he explained.
He said that the passengers were provided with food and accommodation. They went to Warsaw on another cruise.
