The new 800 plus benefit period starts on June 1 this year and will last until May 31, 2025. People who want to withdraw money continuously should submit a new application by Tuesday, April 30. Otherwise, the payment of funds will be suspended.
The new settlement period in the 800 plus program will start on June 1 this year and will last until May 31, 2025. Documents can be submitted from February 1 this year. via the Emp@tia portal, PUE ZUS, electronic banking and via the free mZUS application.
If parents do not want to have an interruption in the payment of benefits, they should submit a properly completed application by the end of April. Then 800 plus will be paid in June. If the document is received in May, the transfer from ZUS will be transferred to the account by July 31 with compensation for June. And if the application is submitted in June, payment can be expected no later than the end of August with compensation from June.
800 plus – when will it not be paid?
If parents or guardians are late and submit their application for the new period after June 30, they will no longer receive compensation from June. The right to the benefit will only apply from the month of submitting the application, with the exception of parents of newborn children who have three months from the child's birth to submit documents.
The three-month rule also applies to the case of taking care of a child, adopting a child or actually placing a child in a social welfare home or foster care. The 800 plus benefit is available to each child up to the age of 18, regardless of their income.
From January 1, 2024, the amount of the childcare benefit was increased from PLN 500 to PLN 800. This amount changed automatically, which means there was no need to submit an additional application. Money is transferred only in a non-cash form to a bank account.
