On Monday, the District Court in Warsaw announced the verdict in the case of Karolina B., a young lawyer accused of murdering her partner. 21-year-old Igor K., a young councilor from Lublin, died in the apartment she rented in Wilanów. The accused was not present in the courtroom, and after the closing of the trial, she asked not to be brought to the reading of the verdict. The judge agreed. The court found B. guilty of murder and sentenced her to 15 years in prison. The judgment is not final.
