“PLN 18.9 thousand – this is the highest remuneration allowed by law, so far entitled to the general director in the Chancellery of the President. This amount increased to PLN 21.8 thousand. Andrzej Duda” – we read in “Rz”.

The newspaper believes that “his law firm is not the only institution whose employees will get raises”.

“Because of the raging inflation in 2023, an increase in wages by 7.8 percent is planned in the entire budget sector. The problem is that the president’s raises are planned in such a way that for some employees they can significantly exceed the mentioned indicator for the budget.

According to the newspaper, “they were introduced in two ways”. “First of all, Duda increased the range from the annex to the order. For example, the upper limit of earnings at the general director soared from 13.5 to 15 thousand, at the director from 12.5 to 14 thousand, at the president’s advisor from 12 to 13 thousand. , for a chief specialist from 10 to 11 thousand, and for a counselor from 6 thousand to 6.8 thousand. Sometimes the increase is higher than 7.8 percent, for example in the case of a director it is as much as 12 percent.” – reports “Rz”.

Add-ons also go up

Rzeczpospolita also wrote that “in the new order, the president additionally increased the upper amount of functional allowances”.

“In the case of managerial positions, the maximum allowance increased from 40 to 45 percent, and for independent workers, coordinating the work of multi-person positions and the head of the secret office – from 20 to 25 percent. This is why, for example, the earnings of the general director increased by a total of 15 percent.” – indicated.

It was noted that “these are maximum amounts, the granting of which depends on a discretionary decision”. “However, the opposition expects that the earnings in the law firm will actually go up,” writes Rzeczpospolita.
