Police gave chase to a 35-year-old passenger car driver who failed to stop for inspection. The man ran away through the streets of Bialystok. He was detained after six police cars were dispatched to the scene. It turned out that the 35-year-old was wanted to serve a sentence of one and a half years in prison.

On Tuesday (February 7), before 3 p.m., police officers from Białystok wanted to stop a Renault driver who was driving along Upalna Street.

But he started running away. The chase has begun.

The driver drove into the neighborhood streets. He was stopped in a parking lot next to one of the blocks on Sikorskiego Street, where he hit one of the parked cars.

– Nobody’s hurt. The man was aggressive. His blood was taken for sobriety tests – says Staff Sergeant Malwina Trochimczuk from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Bialystok.
