– Those who know me and remember me from the old days, from my first term as prime minister, know that no one – including me – should get too attached to the idea that they are eternal, said the head of government during the ceremony at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

He emphasized that this principle stems from the belief to make the most of opportunities and circumstances. – Only the public interest, the state interest, counts – added Tusk.

The head of government thanked the four outgoing ministers for their work so far. – The ministers who are saying goodbye to you as ministers today have completed the task we set for ourselves – Tusk said.

– I expected effective, sometimes tough action from these ministers. Those first months – and I think you will understand me well when I use this metaphor – but they were months of breaking down the wall. Today is the time to put things in order and this is one of the reasons why this does not apply to every case, but why we decided to make these changes together – added the Prime Minister.

He thanked the outgoing Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Hetman “for a great job” and the Minister of State Assets Borys Budka “for the difficult and thankless mission in the first months of organizing and rebuilding State Treasury companies.”
