Independent senator Krzysztof Kwiatkowski pointed out, among other things, that the regulations had not been agreed by those in power with President Andrzej Duda, and it was not known whether the legislative effort would “end with the president’s veto”.

Schreiber was asked about Solidarna Polska’s opposition to the amendment, which – according to the applicants – is to allow Poland to pay money from the National Reconstruction Plan. “I’m not thrilled about it, I accept that,” the minister said. When asked if the party’s insubordination is not enough Zbigniew Ziobrostated that “it is not my role to criticize a coalition partner in the media”.

When asked if he would cut his hand off and promise that the Poles would receive EU funds from the KPO, he denied it. “I’m not going to cut my hand off because it’s not up to me. This is a decision that will be made, this final assessment, after we submit our application to the European Commission – said Schreiber.
Kwiatkowski: We do not know whether the effort will not end with the president’s veto
Senator Kwiatkowski pointed out that with regard to the provisions of the amendment, “PiS is not even in agreement with the president who was elected by Law and Justice as their candidate.” – And today we do not know whether the effort in parliament, which we have to carry out anyway – I declare that we will do this work in the Senate – will not end with the president’s veto – he said.
He assured that the Senate – if the law goes to the upper house of parliament – intends to “submit those amendments that are tantamount to milestones”. – There is a record in the milestones that disciplinary cases will be, and I quote, decided in the chamber of the Supreme Court.
