In Chotcza-Józefów (Leipzig poviat), the driver of a passenger car hit a roadside tree. The woman is dead.
The tragic accident took place on Sunday morning on a local road in Chotcza-Józefów near the border of the Mazowieckie and Lubelskie voivodships. The police received the call at 6.55. – The driver of the Audi, a 54-year-old woman, probably lost control of the vehicle, left the road and hit a tree. The woman died on the spot – said Katarzyna Kucharska from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Radom.
Police officers are working on the spot under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office. The road may be impassable for about three hours.
Police urge drivers to be careful. – Even though the roads are black, the surface, especially in the morning, can be slippery – warned Kucharska.
