A motorcyclist died in an accident near Góra Kalwaria. “The details of the incident will be clarified by the prosecutor’s office,” the police said. The route was blocked for several hours.
As Artur Węgrzynowicz from tvnwarszawa.pl found out, the accident took place in Czaplinek. Both vehicles ended up in a ditch after the collision. “The motorcyclist died,” our reporter said.

“On the national road No. 50 in the town of Czaplinek, there was a tragic road accident involving an Opel Corsa and a motorcycle,” confirmed Magdalena Gąsowska, spokeswoman for the Piaseczno police in social media.
She added that the motorcyclist died at the scene. “The 29-year-old driver of the passenger car was sober” – she said.
Policemen were working on the spot. “The exact circumstances and causes of the accident will be determined in the investigation conducted by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Piaseczno,” she wrote.
The route was blocked. The police have set up detours. “Once again, we appeal to all drivers to drive safely. Let’s be careful and prudent and follow the applicable regulations. Remember that a moment of inattention can unfortunately end tragically” – she appealed.
