More than 30 journalists and representatives of the Ukrainian media are in Russian captivity, said Rostislav Karandiev, acting Ukrainian Minister of Culture and Information Policy.
Karandiev provided this statistic in a statement on Saturday. 32 representatives of the Ukrainian media are in Russian captivity.
According to the Suspilne website, negotiations are ongoing regarding their return as soon as possible.
A month ago, the Ukrainian journalists' union reported that since the Russian aggression against Ukraine in February 2022, at least 86 journalists, reporters and photojournalists have died on the front.
