On Friday evening, a fire broke out in the historic palace of Antoni Karol Stulgiński in Dębe Małe. 26 fire engines arrived at the scene. According to the fire department, the material damage is considerable. The attic, the first floor and 60 percent of the ground floor burned down.

One hundred firefighters and 26 hosts fought on Friday evening with a fire in a historic palace in Dębe Małe in Mazovia. The fire was brought under control before 11 p.m., and the whole action ended just before 4 a.m.

– As a result of the fire, the attic, the first floor and about 60 percent of the ground floor were burned. 40 percent of the ground floor and the attached conservatory were saved. Some of the exhibits, paintings and furniture have been removed, some have unfortunately been destroyed. The losses are large, according to preliminary estimates, they amount to about a dozen million zlotys – senior captain Kamil Płochocki from the State Fire Service in Mińsk Mazowiecki said on Saturday in an interview with tvnwarszawa.pl.

“The conditions are very difficult”

The fire in the historic palace of Antoni Karol Stulgiński in Dębe Małe broke out on Friday evening. The information was confirmed in an interview with tvnwarszawa.pl by Kamil Płochocki.

– The entire building is currently on fire. The conditions are very difficult. It is a quagmire area, so the lifts have a problem with access. There are 25 fire brigades at the site, no one was injured in the incident, the firefighter reported on Friday. – Firefighters managed to evacuate partly antique furniture and other sculptures from the lower floors. The firefighting operation is still underway – he told us after 10 pm. He added that the building is about 600 square meters.

The firefighter estimated that the firefighting operation could take several hours – Due to the construction of the building, which is made of brick on the outside and has wooden ceilings inside – he summed up.
