Today in the Sejm, on the last day of the current session, MPs will vote, among others: on the adoption of information from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, on the assumptions and tasks of foreign policy for 2024. The first reading of the draft amendment to improve corporate governance in companies with State Treasury shareholding is also planned. Elżbieta Pińciurek, chief accountant at the Ministry of Justice, will be questioned today at the meeting of the investigative committee for Pegasus.
On Thursday, Radosław Sikorski presented information to the Sejm on the assumptions of Polish foreign policy for 2024. There was also a several-hour debate on this topic. Sikorski's speech was listened to by President Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister Donald Tusk and other members of the government.

The head of Polish diplomacy spoke about strategic alliances, European integration and assistance to Ukraine. He spoke about his predecessors in the context of “bad ideas and wrong decisions.” This did not please the president, who said that Radosław Sikorski's speech contained “embarrassing statements.”

Friday in the Sejm. What will MEPs work on?
On Friday, in the Sejm, MPs will vote on accepting the information from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, on the assumptions and tasks of foreign policy for 2024, which he presented on Thursday.
The first reading of the draft amendment to improve corporate governance in companies with State Treasury shareholding is also scheduled for Friday in the Sejm. The Polish 2050 MPs' bill concerns raising qualification requirements and tightening exclusion criteria for candidates for supervisory boards of such companies.
The first reading of the citizens' bill on property protection against claims regarding heirless property will also take place. The justification is to be presented by Robert Bąkiewicz, the former leader of the Nationalists, who ran for the Sejm last year on the PiS list.
It was also planned to present current information requested by the Confederation on the conditions, circumstances of adoption, the course of negotiations and the expected effects of the European Green Deal.
The Sejm website also contains information about two reports that will be presented in the Sejm today. The first will concern the Senate's resolution on the act on ensuring compliance with the accessibility requirements of certain products and services by business entities.
The second report will concern the act amending the act on municipal self-government and certain other acts.
In turn, at the meeting of the investigative committee on Pegasus, which will take place today in the Sejm, Elżbieta Pińciurek, deputy director of the Department of Budget and Financial Efficiency – chief accountant at the Ministry of Justice, will be questioned.
