The police detained a man who, according to investigators, is involved in a high-profile murder in Ursus. On Easter Sunday (March 31, 2024), four bodies were found in one of the apartments. However, the detained person was charged with triple murder, why?

– The investigation into this case is being conducted by the Warsaw-Ochota District Prosecutor's Office. The evidence and traces collected at the scene and their analysis carried out after the autopsy of the deceased led to the determination that a third person could have been involved in the incident – Szymon Banna, spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, told us.

Let us recall, v On Easter Sunday, the bodies of four people were found in one of the houses in Ursus. – As a result of the autopsy, it was determined that three people died as a result of injuries, stab wounds and bruises, and the fourth – Zdzisław M. – died as a result of hanging. A farewell letter was secured at the scene. The procedural activities carried out by the Warsaw III District Police Headquarters under the supervision of the Warsaw-Ochota District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw resulted in the arrest of a 50-year-old Ukrainian citizen, who had traces related to the crime scene, the spokesman said.

As he added, after being brought to the Warsaw-Ochota District Prosecutor's Office, Ihor L. was charged with committing a triple murder together and in consultation with Zdzisław M.. He pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and refused to provide explanations.

– Due to the need to ensure the proper course of this investigation, the district prosecutor's office submitted a request to the court for the man's temporary arrest. The court shared the arguments of the prosecutor's office and granted this motion, at the same time pointing out that the evidence collected by the prosecutor's office indicates a high probability of committing the charged act by the suspect, Banna reported.

The detained person faces life imprisonment.
