Doctors from the Upper Silesian Children's Health Center in Katowice failed to save the life of a seven-year-old boy who was crushed by a heavy element. He was taken to hospital in an extremely serious condition and the fight for his life lasted 10 days.
According to firefighters, the accident occurred on a private property and the child was crushed by a metal element from the fence. It was transported by LPR helicopter to the Upper Silesian Children's Health Center in Katowice. The boy was in an extremely serious condition.
Tragic information about the seven-year-old's death was provided on Wednesday by GCZD spokesman Wojciech Gumułka.
The detailed circumstances of the accident are being investigated under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office in Mysłowice.
