Kielce. Autopsy results of a woman who died after a caesarean section

A 41-year-old woman died in the Kielce Hospital of St. Aleksandra after giving birth by caesarean section. The prosecutor’s office has received the results of the autopsy. So far, no one has been charged in this case.

Mariola G. was admitted to the Kielce Hospital of St. Alexander on December 22 last year. There she gave birth to a child. The woman died two days after being admitted to the hospital.

The circumstances of the woman’s death are explained by the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Krakow. The investigation is being carried out in the case of exposing a 41-year-old woman to the immediate danger of loss of life or serious damage to health by the hospital’s medical staff.

Autopsy results

Prosecutor Katarzyna Duda, spokeswoman for the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Krakow, announced on Tuesday that the investigators received the results of the woman’s autopsy and additional histopathological tests.

– Due to the good of the ongoing investigation, the prosecutor’s office will not disclose the theses contained in the expert opinion. Interrogations of the staff of the Kielce Hospital are currently underway and the conclusions of this opinion are important from the point of view of the activities carried out – she noted.

The investigation is conducted “in the case”, no charges have been filed.

Hospital Statement

The hospital is not commenting on the incident. In a statement sent to the media, representatives of the hospital emphasized their readiness to cooperate with all services in order to clarify the circumstances of the case and provide the child with proper care.

“In order to provide the child with proper protection and care, we informed the Family Court and the Municipal Family Support Center about this sad event. The hospital is ready to cooperate with all services in order to clarify the circumstances of the case and provide the child with proper care. At the same time, we express our condolences to the family of the deceased” – it was written.

The woman left behind three children.
