“Kilometrówki” 2023. New rates from January 17

The rates for the so-called kilometer tickets will increase in 2023, said Szymon Huptyś, spokesman for the Ministry of Infrastructure. It is about reimbursement of the costs of using vehicles not owned by the employer for business purposes. The new rules will come into force on January 17.

“Pursuant to the provisions of Article 34a(2) of the Road Transport Act of 6 September 2001, the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure was published in the Journal of Laws amending the regulation on the conditions for determining and the method of reimbursement of the costs of using passenger cars, motorcycles and mopeds for business purposes not owned by employers” – informed MI spokesman Szymon Huptyś.

Kilometres 2023. New rates

He added that in accordance with the new regulations, the costs of using vehicles for business purposes are covered by the employer at rates per 1 kilometer of vehicle mileage, which may not be higher than PLN 0.89 for a passenger car with a cylinder capacity of up to 900 cm3, and PLN 0.89 for a car with a cylinder capacity of over 900 cm3 – PLN 1.15, for a motorcycle – PLN 0.69, and for a moped – PLN 0.42.

The regulation will enter into force on January 17 this year.

Until the entry into force of the new regulation, the rates for driving 1 km are: PLN 0.5214 for a passenger car with an engine capacity of up to 900 cubic cm, PLN 0.8358 for a passenger car with a cylinder capacity of more than 900 cubic cm, PLN 0, PLN 2302 for a motorcycle and PLN 0.1382 for a moped.
