The officers published a surveillance video showing how the driver of a car who, wanting to overtake the vehicle in front of him, entered the opposite lane, drove on a double straight and a pedestrian island, and finally forced another driver to brake sharply to avoid the head-on collision. collisions.
“A moment later, the perpetrator of this offense caused an accident in which three people traveling in the Opel were injured. There were seven people in the perpetrator’s vehicle at the time of the incident,” we read in the police statement.
The four passengers left the scene after the accident. Among those who remained was the driver, who initially did not admit to driving the vehicle. Only then did he tell the officers that it was he who was behind the wheel.
According to the police, the man did not have a driving license and was under the influence of alcohol.
