Firefighters evacuated a woman whose car slid off concrete slabs into the water while trying to cross the Wisłoka River from Krępna (Podkarpackie Voivodeship).

The incident occurred on Saturday (December 30) before 2 p.m. in the town of Krempna in the Jasło district. A woman driving a passenger car wanted to cross a crossing made of concrete slabs that leads over the Wisłoka River.

“The current of the Wisłoka River carried away a car from the concrete crossing, the car slid into the river,” said firefighters from the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Jasło.

According to the release, there was a woman in the car. “Firefighters from JRG PSP in Jasło and Volunteer Fire Department Krempna evacuated the woman to the shore and pulled the car from the river,” Jasło firefighters reported.
