London. Horses ran around the center of the British capital

British police caught military horses running without riders in central London on Wednesday. Several people were injured. Animals also suffered. The services did not specify how many horses were released.

London police said that before 9 a.m. they received a report about horses belonging to the army running freely in the city center. The published photos showed that one of the horses was probably bloody.

Just before noon, the services announced that all the horses had been captured. It was not stated how many horses were running free in the center of the British capital, but photos and videos show that there were at least two of them.

A military spokesman said the horses escaped during a routine morning exercise. He reported that several people were injured. Several horses also suffered.

According to the London Ambulance Service, crews attended three incidents involving horses, which occurred on Buckingham Palace Road, Belgrave Square and the junction of Chancery Lane and Fleet Street. It was added that all these events occurred within 10 minutes. Four people were treated on site and then transported to hospital, reports the London Ambulance Service.
