A 49-year-old man died when he was crushed by a wall during demolition works in Lublin. The circumstances of the death are being investigated by the police and the prosecutor's office.
The tragic accident occurred on Tuesday (April 23) on the square between ul. Kunickiego and Wolska, on the premises of the former Lublin Leather Industry Plant, where demolition works are being carried out – reported the website Lublin112.pl.
The man could not be saved
– On Tuesday, around 11:10 a.m., we received a report that a 49-year-old woman was crushed by a wall during construction works at Kunickiego Street. The man could not be saved, said Superintendent Kamil Gołębiowski from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Lublin.
Police officers worked on site under the supervision of the prosecutor's office. The exact circumstances of the incident are being determined.
