A fire broke out in a wooden house in Milanówek. The fire engulfed the entire building. According to the fire department, two residents managed to evacuate before the arrival of emergency services.
The fire broke out in a house at the intersection of Piaski and Wigury streets in Milanówek. Tomasz Zieliński, a reporter of tvnwarszawa.pl, is on site. – A single-family wooden house in the Zakopane style is on fire. He’s all on fire. There are several fire engines on site. More units are being called to the site, Zieliński said.
As Krzysztof Stefaniak, the press officer of the Poviat Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, told us, the notification was received around 6.30 pm. Nine fire engines were dispatched to the spot.
– Upon arrival, there were two people in front of the house who had evacuated the house before the units arrived. Firefighters provided the woman and the man with qualified pre-medical aid. They were handed over to the medical rescue team, Stefaniak said. He added that most likely they would not require hospitalization.
– The scene has been secured. Firefighting operations are underway – Stefaniak reported around 19.30.
