In the village of Mingajny (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship), a drunk 19-year-old did not control the car on a straight stretch of road, drove over the pavement and hit the house. Fortunately, no one was in the building. The driver was taken to the hospital. The police confiscated his driver’s license and registration card.
Police officers from Lidzbark Warmiński received a report on Wednesday (June 14) at 5 pm about a road incident in Mingajny involving a 19-year-old Nissan driver.
“On a straight section of the road, for reasons that are currently undetermined, he lost control of the vehicle, drove through the pedestrian pavement, as a result of which the car he was driving overturned and hit a residential building. At the time of the incident, there were no people in the building” – said Sgt. . pcs. Beata Szydłowska, press officer of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Lidzbark Warmiński.

As she added, the initial sobriety test of the 19-year-old showed more than 0.5 per mille of alcohol in his body. “The man with general body bruises was transported to the hospital, where, after receiving help, his blood was taken for further laboratory tests” – said the policewoman.
