Police officers from Pabianice detained a 34-year-old man who stole 151,000 pairs of nitrile gloves from the warehouse of a medical facility. The losses were estimated at over PLN 27,000. A 35-year-old man who sold gloves online was also arrested in the case. Both face up to five years in prison.
On April 17, police officers from Pabianice were informed that over three thousand boxes had been stolen from the warehouse of a medical facility within a few months. The boxes contained 151,000 nitrile gloves. The owner estimated the losses at over PLN 27,000.

According to the spokeswoman of the Police Headquarters in Pabianice, it turned out that some of the stolen items were put up for sale on one of the popular portals. – Police officers in Łódź detained a 35-year-old man. The man was charged with stolen goods. For this crime, he faces up to five years in prison. The officers also found the perpetrator of the theft, who turned out to be a 34-year-old resident of Łask. The suspect admitted that he entered the medical facility building through an open window. Each time he took out boxes of gloves, which he then sold on the Internet – describes Sgt. pcs. The police searched the 34-year-old's apartment, where they found and secured some of the stolen protective clothing. The man was arrested and charged with theft. He will also be liable for possession of prohibited substances. He faces a penalty of up to five years in prison.
