Elections 2023. Candidates of the New Left to the Sejm – district no. 38

The biggest surprise is the absence of current MP Romuald Ajchler on the list. He resigned after 25 years in parliament (with a break in 2015-2019, when the Left was absent from the Sejm). He explained this with his age and lack of first place on the Left’s list.

The leader of the list – just like four years ago – is Dariusz Standerski. The then young politician was not given a seat in the Sejm by the “I” party. Will four years of experience change that? Standerski is an economist and lawyer, a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration and the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw, where he currently lectures. From 2015, he was an analyst, and then chief economist and board member of the Kalecki Foundation, a think tank dealing with economic and social policy. Last year, he was the Left’s candidate for the Monetary Policy Council.

Second place on the list went to Agnieszka Grzechowiak, vice-chairwoman of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship Assembly and head of the electoral office of MP Romuald Ajchler in Wągrowiec. It’s three Jacek Najder, former MP of the Palikot Movement from the Piła constituency.

Fourth place was taken by a local journalist Anna Wilk-Baran, known for describing in 2017 the case of mobbing and suicide of one of the employees in the factory of a household appliance manufacturer. For the wording in the text in the context of the concern that there are “no shortage of bandits in its environment” and the sentence “the company from Wroniec, against the background of the above events and acquaintances, should seriously consider whether it is worth continuing to call itself a joint-stock company. Maybe an organized criminal group will be a more appropriate name?” was fined for defamation by the District Court in Poznań.

Elections 2023. PiS candidates to the Sejm – district no. 38

PiS reopens its list Krzysztof Czarnecki, MP in 2005-2007 and in the last term, long-time councilor from Trzcianka. He probably won “One” at the last moment, because when PiS presented its leaders, at constituency number 38 on the slide the name of the Minister of Health, Katarzyna Sójka, appeared. However, Jarosław Kaczyński announced that the list is opened by Krzysztof Czarnecki.

– This is a decision of the political committee, the party leadership, so it puts an end to all speculations. There were indeed many names from which the management could choose, explained Rafał Bochenek, PiS spokesman.

The list was missing, among others: former MP Marta Kubiak. Number two was taken over by another MP from this region – Grzegorz Piechowiak. He is the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Development and Technology and the government’s plenipotentiary for foreign investments. In 2019, he entered the Sejm as an MP from the Agreement. He left it when Jarosław Gowin was dismissed as deputy prime minister, remaining in the PiS club.

Romuald Ajchler is not on the Left’s list, but PiS’s list includes his brother – Zbigniew Ajchler. He is a real political “wanderer” – he was already in the Democratic Left Alliance, Social Democracy of Poland, and four years ago he was on the KO lists. He did not get into the Sejm, but two years later he was elected to Wiejska after MP Killion Munyama resigned and took up a position in the European External Action Service. Even though he was selected from the KO list, he decided to join the ruling coalition.

MP KO Cezary Tomczyk he said that Zbigniew Ajchler was blackmailedthat “if he does not join PiS, he will not be treated for Parkinson’s.” “The person who introduced Ajchler to this world was MP Łukasz Mejza,” he added. According to Tomczyk, the treatment offered to Ajchler is experimental, and the MP is one of 10 people who could benefit from it. Ajchler swore that it was not true. “I would like to strongly emphasize that the circumstances described by him (Tomczyk – ed.) of my joining the government coalition are a lie. The situation described by MP Tomczyk never took place, and I was never blackmailed in any way,” he wrote in a statement. His brother, a current MP from the Left, has already announced that he will not vote for him.

PiS is number four on the list Dorota Kosowska, farmer, activist of the Solidarity Trade Union of Individual Farmers and delegate of the Wielkopolska Chamber of Agriculture. Behind her was the voivode of Greater Poland Michał Zieliński. Only from the seventh place will an MP try to get into the Sejm again Marcin Porzucek.

Last year, there was a lot of talk about it after the All-Polish Youth on the fence at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań hung up the inscription “UAM for Poles”. They wanted to “express concern” about the recruitment results. According to the organization, the number of foreigners admitted to studies was too high.

It was followed by him on the list Damian Garlicki, a paramedic, released a few weeks ago from the Złotów hospital after an inspection carried out after the death of a 36-year-old patient who was not admitted to the Emergency Department. – I have no charges brought against me, but in our opinion I was unfairly dismissed and I became a scapegoat for the entire situation we are in. I emphasize that I had contact with you for maybe a minute, maybe a minute and a half, and unfortunately she died six days after contact with me, and I was not able to examine her – Garlicki defended himself in an interview with the portal asta24.pl.

The “three” on the Confederation’s list is a historian Piotr Wawrzyniak.

Elections 2023. KO candidates to the Sejm – district no. 38

There was a change in the number one and two places on the KO lists. An MP became the leader Jakub Rutnicki. He is a political scientist and volleyball enthusiast. In 2002, he was one of the finalists of “Idol”. He decided to exchange the music scene for a political one. He has been a member of the Sejm since 2005. He was the first MP to be elected salary was reduced by one quarter for one month for “violating the dignity of the Sejm” after introducing such a provision into the rules of procedure of the chamber. Rutnicki allegedly interrupted the speech of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jacek Czaputowicz.

The MP must be satisfied with “two”. Maria Janyska economist, local government official, manager, politician – MP since 2011, vice-chairman of the Economy and Development Committee.

The real scenario is this elections new president of Piła after the Sejm elections. Out of the three, the current mayor of this city wants to get into parliament Piotr Głowski. He is a doctor of economics. He has been ruling Piła since 2010, previously he was a senator in 2007-2010. He was a representative of the Senate at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

Number four is Marta Magdaeducator, psychologist, owner of a psychological and pedagogical office, president of the Association With Heart We Create the Future.

He will fight for the fifth place seat – just like four years ago Henryk Szopiński, musician and cultural animator, originator and organizer of the Blues Express festival, employee of the Polish House – Center of Ideas Rodła in Zakrzewo, councilor of the Greater Poland Voivodeship for 13 years, chairman of the culture committee.
