We have to get used to this campaign being harsh. It will be a campaign for everything, in the shadow of the clash of two giants – this is how Krzysztof Łapiński, former spokesman for President Andrzej Duda, said in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24. – PiS is obviously on the defensive. This is a yacht that is losing its sails more and more in this election campaign – assessed Professor Tomasz Nałęcz, former advisor to President Bronisław Komorowski.

Guests of “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24 – Professor Tomasz Nałęcz, historian, former advisor to the president Bronislaw Komorowskiformer Deputy Speaker of the Sejm and Krzysztof Łapiński, former presidential spokesman Andrzej Duda – commented on the campaign before the autumn parliamentary elections.

Łapiński: it will be a campaign in the shadow of a clash of two giants

Krzysztof Łapiński, when asked about the assessment of the actions taken so far PiS, said that “this is definitely a campaign with an idea, the only question is whether these ideas are so evoking all kinds of emotions that they will bring PiS different kinds of votes.” At least most of it, he added polls indicates that this party won the elections, but it is not enough to govern alone.

He also referred to the resignation of the MEP Tomasz Poręba from the function of the head of the electoral staff Law and Justice. He said that “only an electoral staff that is coherent, consistent, in which there are no internal disputes, is able to conduct a successful campaign.”

“We have to get used to this campaign being harsh. It will be a campaign for everything, there will be strong speeches by the leaders, he predicted. In his opinion, it will also be a “campaign in the shadow of the clash of two giants, and smaller parties will have to find their way in it somehow.”

According to Nałęcz, the PiS campaign was “badly conducted”. – Regardless of who will be the head of the campaign, he will not so much manage the campaign in the first stage of his activities, but will manage the crisis, which is obvious at the moment – he said.

– PiS is obviously on the defensive. This is a yacht that is losing its sails more and more in this election campaign – he assessed.

The former advisor to President Bronisław Komorowski also commented on the recent activities of the leader of the Civic Platform, among others march on June 4 and his Friday speech rally in Poznańwhen Tusk spoke, among other things, about women’s rights in connection with the death of pregnant Dorota from Nowy Targ.

– Tusk is an excellent leader, he perfectly senses the mood of the crowd. Such a sharp-spoken Tusk is still a step behind those thousands of people who come to his rallies and want even more. Because PiS led these people to desperation, he assessed.
