The search for a missing 61-year-old man from the Końskowola commune (Lubelskie Province), who left home on April 22 on a bicycle and was lost, ended tragically. The man's body was fished out of the Vistula River after several days.
According to the Lublin police, the missing 61-year-old man left home on April 22 on a bicycle and went away in an unknown direction. Since then, he has not made any contact with his loved ones. – On that day, he was seen in the city of Puławy, and his bicycle was found on the bridge – reported Deputy Commissioner Kamil Karbowniczek from the press team of the Lublin police.
The fisherman noticed the body
On Friday (May 3), after 6 p.m., an angler noticed a body caught on a branch sticking out of the Vistula River. The man's body was recovered by the fire brigade. It turned out that he was a wanted 61-year-old man.
The body was secured for examination
By decision of the prosecutor, the man's body was secured for autopsy. The study is intended to answer the question about the causes of the 61-year-old's death.
The causes and circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the police under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.
