Police officers from Radom detained a 46-year-old man who allegedly stabbed his friend. There was a misunderstanding between the men. The subject of the dispute was a jacket.
According to Justyna Jaśkiewicz from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Radom, the incident took place last weekend.
– It all started with a meeting near the store and an exchange of opinions regarding a previously damaged jacket and a possible settlement. There was a scuffle between the men and then they separated. After some time, the 47-year-old came to the apartment of the 46-year-old's friend and another argument broke out between the drunk people. As a result, the 47-year-old stabbed the victim in the back, who was taken to hospital – described the policewoman.
Charges of attempted murder
The police detained a 47-year-old resident of Radom. He was drunk. – The sobriety test showed over two per mille of alcohol in the body. He was placed in a police cell, and after sobering up, he was taken into custody. The man was taken to the prosecutor's office where he was charged with attempted murder and causing serious bodily harm, Jaśkiewicz explained.
The man was arrested. Now he faces up to life imprisonment.
