The President of Law and Justice, Jarosław Kaczyński, was asked in the parliamentary corridor by TVN24 reporter Radomir Wit about the situation in the local government of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, where PiS unexpectedly lost its majority. – This is not a press conference. The changes that were introduced here after the elections, unfortunately, turn out to be very inappropriate, he said, adding that he “cannot go through it calmly.” – But you're on your way, replied the journalist. – But I have the right to walk in silence – said the PiS president.

Law and Justice lost power in the local government of the Podlaskie Voivodeship – the parties in the government coalition, supported by two PiS councilors, led to the election of a new chairman of the local assembly and later of the region's board on Tuesday. The Marshal of the new term is Łukasz Prokorym from the Civic Coalition.

TVN24 reporter Radomir Wit tried to ask PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński about this issue in the parliamentary corridor. – I repeat once again, this is not a press conference. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, he said.

– Unfortunately, the changes introduced here after the elections turn out to be very ineffective. It is different in all parliaments in the world, he added.

– No, I'm talking about the fact that I can't go through it calmly – Kaczyński said.

– But you're on your way, replied the TVN24 reporter.

– But I have the right to walk in silence – said the PiS president.

– Of course, this is your right, but I also have the right to ask questions as a journalist. Especially since you have been a representative of the ruling camp for the last eight years, said Wit.
