The area around and in the premises of the former Zatoka Sztuki in Sopot (Pomerania) is still being searched. The prosecutor of the National Prosecutor’s Office, Łukasz Łapczyński, said that the actions will continue “also in the coming days”. Investigators arrived on the scene on December 22, 2022.

On Monday, the spokesman for the National Prosecutor’s Office, Łukasz Łapczyński, told the State Press Agency that on-site activities are still being carried out. “They will also be implemented in the coming days,” he indicated. He added that “there is no information as to when they may end”.

The security takes place commissioned by the Małopolska Branch of the Department for Organized Crime and Corruption in Krakow. This is the same unit that is investigating the disappearance of Iwona Wieczorek. The prosecutor’s office does not disclose whether the actions are related to the case from 12 years ago. However, as established by “Fakty” TVN, the search is related to the disappearance of a young woman.

Activities around Zatoka Sztuki started before Christmas. The building is still guarded by the police.

The officers checked the sewer manholes located near the building. The beach in front of the club was also dug up, and the area was checked with metal detectors. A tracking dog was also involved in the operation.
