> Undersecretary of State USA Victoria Nuland announced that a new package of sanctions against Russia may be announced by the US and the G7 on the anniversary of the Kremlin’s invasion Ukraine on February 24. “These sanctions will extend and deepen the previously imposed restrictions in certain categories, related in particular to the restriction of the flow of technology and equipment for the Russian defense industry,” she said.

> The head of the administration of the Kharkiv region, Oleg Synegubov, reported in a Telegram that late Thursday evening Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with missiles, hitting infrastructure facilities. According to preliminary information, enemy S-300 missiles fell there.
