The office of the British head of government at Downing Street in London informed about the previously unannounced visit of Volodymyr Zelensky to the UK on Wednesday. Downing Street: another aid package for Ukraine and sanctions on Russia
As added in the communiqué, on Wednesday the British government will present another package of military assistance, including increasing the training of Ukrainian soldiers, and will also announce another package of sanctions on Russia.
This is the first visit by a Ukrainian president to the UK since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began almost a year ago.
