“On May 5, 2024, at approximately 9:40 a.m., a Ford Kuga car exploded in temporarily occupied Berdyansk in the Zaporizhia Oblast,” the intelligence agency said on Telegram. It was added that the car belonged to a collaborator and organizer of the torture chamber. The announcement included his name and surname.

The press release stated that “as a result of the explosion, a man considered a collaborator who was involved in torturing Ukrainian prisoners of war was killed.” “HUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reminds that there will be a just payment for every war crime,” the statement emphasized.
It was explained that the deceased was one of the organizers of the torture chamber in the correctional colony No. 77 in Berdyansk, where he worked for the occupation authorities.

Photos were also posted which most likely show a car belonging to the person accused of collaboration. “Today, May 5, an employee of the occupation penal colony was liquidated. An explosive was placed under a car. The traitor died on the spot as a result of his injuries,” it was written.
