Police officers from Białołęka intervened in connection with a report of domestic violence. – A neighbor of a 35-year-old woman with a child who had taken shelter with her called. The woman explained that she had more than once witnessed her neighbor's aggressive behavior towards his family. When a scared neighbor asked her for help, she did not refuse, says Paulina Onyszko from the North Praga police in a statement. – The 35-year-old explained that her husband was abusing her and the children. He not only scares, but also pushes and insults. The woman was afraid that she would actually hurt them. She also explained that her husband becomes very aggressive when he is under the influence of alcohol, and he has been abusing it every day for a long time.

The police detained a 39-year-old man and implemented the Blue Card procedure in his family.

Charges, police supervision and an order to leave the apartment

They took the man to the police station, where they tested him with a breathalyzer. He had almost two per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air. During further activities, they took statements from the injured party and interviewed witnesses. The materials collected in these proceedings were transferred to the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, Praga Północ. The police also took the detained person there for questioning.

The prosecutor decided that the 39-year-old would be placed under police supervision and ordered to leave the shared apartment.
