On Świętojerska Street in the center of Warsaw, the driver of the Tesla hit two cars and a bus in which children were traveling. One person was taken to hospital. It’s a passenger from one of the parked cars.
The accident was confirmed by the police. – We received the report at 1:12 p.m. The incident involved: the perpetrator’s Tesla, a bus carrying children and parked Volkswagen and BMW vehicles. A passenger who was in the Volkswagen at the time of the collision suffered injuries. This person was taken to hospital, no one else was hurt, said Jacek Wiśniewski from the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
He added that all drivers were tested for alcohol content in their bodies. – They were sober – said the policeman.
– Four vehicles are damaged: three passenger cars and a coach. The Tesla car first hit a Volkswagen and a bus. In turn, the Volkswagen hit the BMW. The police are on site and carrying out their activities. There was also a fire brigade – said Tomasz Zieliński from tvnwarszawa.pl. Our reporter described that the cars hit by the Tesla were parked.
– The Tesla was heavily damaged on both sides and the airbags also deployed. Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to check whether the car’s battery had overheated. Now there are no traffic disruptions, he said just before 4 p.m.
