In the first days of the new year, the temperature will slowly decrease. Check the long-term weather forecast for 16 days prepared by Tomasz Wasilewski.
The record warm New Year’s Eve and the same New Year’s Eve are due to a strong stream of air that came to us from North Africa. Such circulation was caused by the lows located in the west and north of the continent – their location enabled the migration of unusually warm, for this time of year, air masses from the south to, among others, the center of the continent.
Weather for 16 days. Long-term forecast
After this “hot” weekend it is still supposed to be warm by January standards, but the temperature will slowly decrease and during the next weekend it will be around 0 degrees in eastern Poland and 5 degrees in the west. Later the temperature will be positive everywhere – up to 8 degrees in the southern part country, and then, in the middle of the month, a slightly greater winter cooling is possible.
