Weather for 5 days. Cold and damp will dominate the weather in Poland. Will there be a chance for sun?

In the coming days, Poland will remain under the dominant influence of a vast field of low pressure – said tvnmeteo.pl forecaster Damian Zdonek. In the north and east, the weather will be shaped by the rear part of the low from Ukraine and western Russia, while in the west and south there will be a shallow bay with a zone of a blurring occlusion front.

– Cold masses of polar maritime air will flow into Poland: one from southern Scandinavia, through the Baltic Sea, and the other from the west over the Atlantic. They will be characterized by high humidity, therefore, in the coming days, cloudy weather with rainfall will prevail, and clear weather and clearing will be only sporadic – he added.

In the following days, the dominant type of precipitation will be rain, however, mixed precipitation and wet snow are forecast in the Sudetes and Tatra foothills on the night from Saturday to Sunday. Up to 5-10 centimeters of snow will fall in the higher parts of the mountains. It should be noted that in these areas, road and trail conditions will be difficult.

The forecast for Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with some clear showers and light rain in some places. It shouldn’t rain only in Western Pomerania and the center. Thermometers show a maximum of 6 degrees Celsius Suwałkiby 7 degrees C Łódź and Warsaw, up to 8 degrees C Wrocław. The wind will be moderate and blowing from the west and north-west. In the east, gusts may reach 40-50 kilometers per hour.

Monday will be cloudy with clear weather. There will be light rainfall in the northeastern and eastern regions. It may also rain in the west in the evening. Thermometers will show a maximum of 5 degrees C in the Suwałki region to 8 degrees C in Lower Silesia. Light and moderate winds blow from variable directions, mainly from the south.

Tuesday will be cloudy and rainy. Clear weather is only possible in southern Poland. The maximum temperature will reach from 4 degrees C in the Suwałki region to 12 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind from the west will be light and moderate. It can only grow stronger in the West.

On Wednesday, cloudy weather and rain can be expected. There will be a chance for clearer weather only in the southern part of the country. The maximum temperature will range from 3 degrees C in the Suwałki region to 10 degrees C in Lower Silesia. There will be a moderate north-westerly wind. Gusts may be quite strong in the north.

Thursday will bring cloudy weather with rainfall. Rain and snow are possible in the Suwałki region. Thermometers will show a maximum of 2 degrees C in Suwałki to 7 degrees C in Wrocław and Rzeszów. The variable wind will be moderate.
