The culminating moment of the 31st Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is behind us. The Light to Heaven shone in many Polish cities, including Warsaw.
The 31st finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity was crowned with the traditional Light to Heaven. The countdown took place just before 8 pm. In Warsaw, on Plac Defilad, the signal to start the show was given by the head of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Jurek Owsiak, who was accompanied on stage by the Mayor of Warsaw Rafal Trzaskowski and Kasia Kieli, President & Managing Director of Warner Bros. Discovery in Poland and CEO of TVN.
A show with music, lights and fire took place in Warsaw. Fireworks have been abandoned for the sake of animal welfare.
Fireworks and flames were displayed in other cities.

This year, the orchestra plays under the slogan “Live healthy in a healthy world”, and the collected funds will be used to fight sepsis. Over 120,000 volunteers are active during the Final, you can take part in thousands of auctions and hundreds of events.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Final is a one-day public collection organized by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation. It is preceded by online actions and closed events that start at the beginning of December. Since the beginning of its activity, the foundation has collected over PLN 1.75 billion to support Polish medicine and purchased over 70,000 devices.
