Adam Bielan, speaking in “Rozmowie Piaseckiego” on TVN24 about the referendum on migrants announced by Jarosław Kaczyński, admitted that if it takes place on the day of the parliamentary elections, it “will affect the course of the campaign”. At the same time, he stated that “the austerity argument” speaks in favor of a referendum on election day. Asked if it had already been decided that it would take place on the same day, he replied: – I would prefer not to announce it publicly, but I think it is obvious.
Adam Bielan in the program he referred to the government camp’s idea of a referendum on the EU mechanism for the relocation of illegal migrants. On June 15, during the parliamentary debate, President PIS Jaroslaw Kaczynski announced that such a referendum would be held.
The leader of the Republican Party said that “the referendum, if it takes place on election day, will have an impact on the course of the campaign.” – But there is also another very important argument for organizing this referendum on election day. This is an argument for savings, he argued.
