Police officers from Dąbrowa Górnicza detained a man who insulted them and destroyed a police car. It turned out that the 26-year-old was under the influence of drugs.
The officer on duty at the Municipal Police Headquarters in Dąbrowa Górnicza received a report that a drunk man was sitting in a car and might try to drive away. At the scene, the police patrol stated that the driver was sober, but a drug test showed their presence.

“He damaged the interior of the police car”
During a search of the car, it turned out that the resident of Dąbrowa had an object resembling a firearm.
“During the intervention, the 26-year-old insulted the uniformed officers, violated their bodily integrity and tried to force them to withdraw from their official duties. Moreover, he damaged the interior of the police car,” the Silesian police said in a statement.
The man was overpowered and detained and spent the night in custody. He has already been charged with violating his inviolability, insulting police officers, damaging property and forcing him to withdraw from official duties.
The court will decide on the man's further fate. He faces five years in prison.
