Donald Tusk is currently trying to turn the tables, said Jarosław Kaczyński, commenting on the Polish Prime Minister's words about “Russian influence” in PiS. As he argued, currently “Poland is becoming a German-Russian condominium.”

– If lack of competence, laziness and chaos were the biggest mistakes of PiS and the government of Messrs. Kaczyński and Morawiecki, it would be half the trouble – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk from the Sejm podium on Thursday. As he stated, PiS has been “operating here in Poland under the influence of Russian interests and Russian influence” for many years. He also commented the case of judge Tomasz Szmydt. He described him as a “Belarusian or Russian agent” who “was appointed by PiS” to dismantle the Polish legal system.

PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński was asked about Tusk's words during the press conference. – When it comes to ties with Russia, “Reset” and plenty of other evidence, such as the recent plan to destroy the monument to the victims of the Smolensk disaster, show that the Russian agenda is being consistently implemented here, simply on its knees before Russia, as it was done in their previous terms of office, he said.

– “Katyń is not genocide”, and everything that was later associated with the Smolensk attack, with the action that aimed to prevent the truth about the attack from coming to light – he continued.

As he argued, “Donald Tusk is currently trying to turn the tables, because what they are doing is for every thinking person 100% proof that what I once said, which was so condemned at the time, that under their rule Poland is becoming German-Russian condominium – today perhaps more German and less Russian, but still Russian – is true.
