So far, the Polish state has not considered Dworczyk’s e-mails as something worth addressing. The decision of the prosecutor is a breakthrough. The state has officially recognized that this matter is confirmed and serious – said Cezary Tomczyk from the Civic Coalition in the Sejm.
The Warsaw prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into the suspicion that the minister’s e-mail correspondence Michał Dworczyk with his defense advisor, state secrets were revealed, including those protected by the highest “top secret” clause.
Tomczyk: There is a breakthrough in this matter
In this case, the prosecutor’s office was informed by politicians of the Civic Coalition – Cezary Tomczyk and Adam Szlapka. On Wednesday, MPs held a press conference on the matter.
– Maile is a picture of disaster. They show how Morawiecki, together with Dworczyk, the prime minister’s advisers, manage the state through e-mails. These e-mails have been shown on the web, but so far the Polish state has not considered it as an element worth taking care of. Prime Minister Morawiecki and a whole host of ministers denied the content of these e-mails, said Tomczyk.
He said the prosecutor’s decision was a “breakthrough in the case”. – That is why this is a breakthrough, because for the first time the Polish state admits in an official letter and official proceedings that the case of Dworczyk’s e-mails is confirmed, serious and recognized by the Polish state – he explained.
As the deputy added, “the truth is that the prosecutor’s office could not wait any longer under the pressure of the arguments that were presented in the notifications.”
Szłapka: Dworczyk opened the curtain behind which the public could not look
