In the same case, Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik were previously convicted by the court and then pardoned by the president.

2. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs speaks, the president reacts

On Thursday morning, Andrzej Duda listened to the speech of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, in the Sejm, giving an exposé on Poland's foreign policy for this year. 3. Unofficial PiS candidates for the European Parliament

Former president of TVP Jacek Kurski, former head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration Mariusz KamiÅ„ski and former president of Orlen Daniel Obajtek are among the top candidates on the PiS electoral lists for the European Parliament – according to unofficial information from Arleta Zalewska, a reporter of “Fakty” TVN.

The Law and Justice authorities deliberated on the creation of these lists on Thursday afternoon. PiS president JarosÅ‚aw KaczyÅ„ski admitted during a press conference that “the lists are generally approved.” However, he did not officially reveal which names of PiS politicians were included on them.

4. Over seven million euros in fines for Poland

The Court of Justice of the European Union ruled on Thursday that Poland had not taken the necessary steps to implement EU whistleblower protection rules.

The CJEU imposed a financial penalty on our country of over seven million euros. The family ministry emphasized that the verdict is a consequence of the “negligence of the PiS government.” There is already a draft bill in the Sejm.

5. “Proceder” at the Ministry of National Defense

The most important collaborators of Minister Mariusz BÅ‚aszczak stole valuable items that were supposed to be officially presented to the most important ministers of foreign countries – said Deputy Minister of National Defense Cezary Tomczyk.

The Military Counterintelligence Service referred the case to the Military Police, who contacted the prosecutor's office to notify them of a reasonable suspicion of committing a crime, he said.
