IMWM warnings – snowmelt
Level 1 warnings against snowmelt are in force in the province. Lesser Polandin the Tatra district.
The warnings will expire on Wednesday at 18.
IMWM warning forecast for Friday
Although IMWM does not plan to issue further warnings on Wednesday and Thursday, storms may occur on Friday. First degree alerts before them may apply in the following voivodeships: Greater Poland, Opole province, Lower Silesia, Lubuskie.
What is the IMWM first degree meteorological warning?
The first level warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material losses and pose a threat to health and life. Conducting business in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from carrying out activities in the hazardous area, including delays caused by traffic disruptions, disruptions to outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation. Caution is recommended, the need to follow messages and developments in the weather situation.

According to the IMWM definition, a threat forecast is an indicative weather forecast used to provide early information to the public about the possibility of a dangerous meteorological phenomenon occurring.
