Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on social media that during a Thursday meeting with President Andrzej Duda in Rzeszów, he discussed the current situation on the battlefield. He also told the Polish president about his visit to Brussels.
As Zelensky wrote in social media, the conversation with the Polish president also concerned Ukraine’s current defense needs, further defense cooperation and joint diplomatic steps.

“It is important that negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU start this year. This would become a motivating factor for the Ukrainian society and army, which face difficult challenges,” concluded Zelensky and posted a photo with the Polish president.
Head of the Presidential Office of International Policy Marcin Przydacz said that the presidents of Poland and Ukraine met in Rzeszów late on Thursday evening. President Zelensky reported on his recent diplomatic activity in Brussels and other European capitals. The talks also concerned security in the region – said Przydacz.

Zelensky’s journey
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Brussels on Thursday was a guest of EU leaders gathered at the summit of the European Council. He also performed in Brussels in the European Parliament.
